LOS VIAJES DE CRISTINE: Diciembre / December

Diciembre y empieza el verano en Nueva Zelanda, bueno el clima cambia bastante y no hace tanto calor como en Chile. En este mes fui con mis amigas al Coca-Cola Navidad en el parque o algo así... el show fue espectacular con artistas locales, creo, la primera parte fue de canciones navideñas y la segunda parte con covers de artistas famosos y al final fuegos artificiales!!!

Una semana antes fui con mi amiga al Barrio Ponsonby es como Tobalaba.. o algo parecido, en las calles se respira aire Navideño, las vitrinas llenas de lindos adornos y en la noche las casas adornadas con luces es muy lindo, en las esquinas hay cantantes que entonan villancicos de manera profesional.

También encontré una tienda en dónde vendían unos maravillosos papeles hecho a mano que pensé para mis cuadernos, no pude elegir unos cuantos, así es que volveré otro día a comprar.

Navidad esta cerca y Año Nuevo también, no tenemos planes para esos días, pero no importa, sólo quiero esperar en nuevo año rodeada de buenas energías y felicidad, el tiempo pasa volando y el estar aquí es una experiencia extraordinaria para mi.

No quiero pensar mucho en el futuro quiero vivir el día a día con tranquilidad y disfrutar lo que la vida me dá. Yo sólo sé que quiero continuar este viaje alrededor del mundo conociendo culturas diferentes y aprender cosas nuevas, diferentes idiomas, quiero ver el mundo. Puedo hacerlo? Sí puedo!!! Y lo haré!!!

December starts the summertime, but it isn't hot like in my country. This month, I've been with my friends to the Coca-Cola Christmas Party in the Auckland Domain. The show was so beautiful, with the different local artist of high quality and, at the end, an amazing display of fireworks.

One week ago, I went to Ponsonby Road, which has many houses decorated with beautiful Christmas lights. We walked on the street, and I saw in the shopfronts they have full Christmas trimmings. We were surrounded by Christmas lights. It's Christmastime!!! I don't know what we will do on the day, but I think maybe we will go out to celebrate.

When we were walking on the street, I saw a store wich sells beautiful papers, and I couldn't choose only one- so I will buy some there the next time I want the paper to make my notebooks.

Well, Christmas I coming, so I need to be prepared to receive the New Year with hope and happiness around me. Time flies in this country. It is such an extraordinary experience for me.

I don't want to think about the future because I only want to live day by day and enjoy everything I can. I only know I want to continue travelling around the world, learning about other people, and I want to see the world. Can I do this? YES, I CAN!!! I WILL!!!
